Work your 9-5 in order to get to your dreams.

You can still work your regular job WHILE you’re working on your passion.

Most of us don’t have the luxury of quitting our day jobs to work on our dreams. But that doesn’t mean you save your dream for the weekend or put them on hold. You must still work on fulfilling your potential on a daily basis, even if it’s just for an hour.

Most people are not working in their dream jobs or occupations, because they need an income to survive; you’ve got to pay the bills somehow. So, don’t neglect your paying job while you work on your dreams. You’ve got to keep that income coming in, so keep your passion alive by continuing to work on your dreams every single day.

Do what you have to do to ensure you don’t neglect your paying job, but then consistently work on your dreams.

I have always wanted to make a living off my public speaking and writing. (Academic writing doesn’t pay!), so even though I have a research and teaching job that pay my bills, I work on fulfilling my public speaking and writing potential every single day with this blog, my ALL IN social club and my ALL IN BOOK (due out in Jan 2016!).

Working every single day on my dreams helps motivate me to keep working on the jobs that actually pay my rent right now.

It’s not an all-or-nothing situation. Just because you can’t work on your dreams 100% of the time doesn’t mean you should abandon them. Keep going, every day, just keep going.
